Batch Convert PNGs to JPGs on Mac OS X

Computers are smart. I had a folder full of screen captures (PNG) and I needed them to all be JPGs.

Open Terminal and put in this command:

mkdir jpegs; sips -s format jpeg *.* --out jpegs

Voila!

You smart computer.

  1. Why not just change the format of the screen capture so you don’t have to convert them after the fact?
PNG, PDF, GIF, TIFF, and JPG, and most common type of web graphic:

    In terminal
    defaults write com.apple.screencapture type jpg
change the last three letters to your desired screen capture format.

Then you must kill the SystemUIServer for changes to take effect:

    killall SystemUIServer

  2. Boost your health and strength eating tasty Paleo diet recipes
full of proteins, vitamins and minerals. Given that, Paleo Diet Recipes allow you to mix and match your preferred meats,
vegetable and other ingredients to produce the ideal Paleo
Meal. Although the benefits of resveratrol from red
wine may be overstated, studies have shown that moderate alcohol consumption does have health and stress relieving benefits.
